Title: Mediterranean diet and non alcoholic fatty liver disease

 Link to the webinar recording

February 21, 2020, 19.00 CET

Description of the topic:

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most prevalent liver disorder in Western countries [1]. At present, no formally approved pharmacological or surgical therapy exists for the management of NAFLD and lifestyle modifications remain the cornerstone therapy [2]. Mediterranean diet is a dietary pattern widely known for its favourable effects. Recently, it has been proven that not only Mediterranean diet, but Mediterranean lifestyle as well, can benefit patients with NAFLD. This webinar will focus on the association between Mediterranean diet and NAFLD.
