Public Health Dietitians are directly involved in the delivery and development of policies related to public health for nutritional wellbeing and food justice across the life-course for individuals and groups. They advocate for reorienting food and health policies so they address personal and structural factors, in order to enhance health equity. Public health dietitians work across diverse sectors including health and social care, community development, education, NGOs, research, industry and consultancy and training.
